Do you ever wonder if the human race is too greedy and irresponsible to govern itself in a wise and moral way? LeVayen Satanism is an atheistic sect that believes that the devil is merely symbolic of humanity's carnal nature. Its teachings are based on magic and occultists, drawing heavily from Aleister Crowley. Current church teachings have laid claim to philosophical ideas such as individualism, self-indulgence and ' eye for an eye' morality, and teachings from Friedrick Nietzsche and Ayn Rand.

How fresh? How clean? Outkast pre-loss-of-steeze.
Can you think of a more questionable way to make a vid of this song? Simon + Garf.

Bro is totally played
Many of you may have noticed by now that the term 'bro' is now almost exclusively used either by douche-bags or by normal people attempting irony (although this doesn't necessarily exclude them from potential dee-bag status). You may by wondering: 'How can I express brotherly endearment towards my companions without sounding like a total fucker?' Well, we have just the thing for you. Straight out of South Africa, the word 'bru.' Use it and you'll sound revolutionary. Then explain it's from Africa and people will simply have to shit themselves. Maybe even throw some cred our way, post-drawers-ruinage.

Greed
Early today I saw a political cartoon in a magazine that looked something like this:
There was a list of the Seven Deadly Sins on a large marble tablet.
Next to the word 'Greed', there was a large, red asterisk.
Below the tablet, in similar red script was printed 'downgraded'.
Usually, political cartoons are drab and boring references to something idiotic or hypocritical a particular politician said that week, but this cartoon really struck me. I found it rather epitomic of the West's present dismissal of our problem with greed. Writing it off as an 'everybody is doing it' offense. This is the exact philosophy that has run the American economy into the ground, ubiquitously perpetuated by both the consumer and the corporation. Everyone is out to fuck everyone else over. I wonder if a paradigm shift to mutual respect, modesty and sustainability is even possible. It just seems like we are waiting for some sort of deity to swoop down from space and fix all the shit we've broken and tell us what to do. When really it's just as simple as individuals striving to behave in a respectable and moral fashion.

Collaboration: Genesis
This blog is a collaborative effort between two young men. We may occasionally have guest writers featured. This blog will serve as a window of sorts into our collective brains. We'll be posting short stories, essays, news, art and anything fresh and interesting we happen to dig up that is worth showing you. Trust me, we have better shit to do than to waste your time with some boring bullshit about 'how cute this cat is...' ecetera.
